        มาตรา ๙๗ ในการฟ้องขอให้กักกัน ถ้าจะฟ้องภายหลังการฟ้องคดีอันเป็นมูลให้เกิดอำนาจฟ้องขอให้กักกัน ต้องฟ้องภายในกำหนดหกเดือนนับแต่วันที่ฟ้องคดีนั้น มิฉะนั้น เป็นอันขาดอายุความ

         Section 97. If a prosecution for protective custody is to be brought after the prosecution of the case which forms the basis for prosecution for protective custody, it shall be brought within six months from the date on which such case has been prosecuted; otherwise, it shall be barred by prescription.
