       มาตรา ๑๖๖*  ผู้ใดเป็นเจ้าพนักงาน ละทิ้งงานหรือกระทำการอย่างใด ๆ เพื่อให้งานหยุดชะงักหรือเสียหาย โดยร่วมกระทำการเช่นนั้นด้วยกันตั้งแต่ห้าคนขึ้นไป ต้องระวางโทษจำคุกไม่เกินห้าปี หรือปรับไม่เกินหนึ่งแสนบาท หรือทั้งจำทั้งปรับ

       ถ้าความผิดนั้นได้กระทำลงเพื่อให้เกิดการเปลี่ยนแปลงในกฎหมายแผ่นดิน เพื่อบังคับรัฐบาลหรือเพื่อข่มขู่ประชาชน ผู้กระทำต้องระวางโทษจำคุกไม่เกินสิบปี และปรับไม่เกินสองแสนบาท

          Section 166. Any person who is a competent official, who, with the participation of five or more persons, deserts work or commits any act to have work interrupted or damaged shall be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or to a fine not exceeding one hundred thousand baht or to both. 

          If such an offence is committed to cause a change in the laws of the country or to force the Government or to threaten the people, the perpetrator shall be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding ten years and to a fine not exceeding two hundred thousand baht.
